In India, the telecom sector has seen some major shifts and shocks which is an outcome of Reliance Jio’s aggressive entry into the market to lure customers riding on the back of affordable heavy data and unlimited offers. Because of this, other telcos have taken some major hits to their earnings, forcing them to enter the pattern of RJio’s way of doing business. Companies like Idea Cellular, Vodafone and Bharti Airtel have openly blamed RJio for disrupting the telecom market, and have now started to offer recharge packs mainly to retain their customers. In a latest development, Airtel has now launched three new combo recharge packs in prepaid category providing offers for 28 days each. Interestingly, it is noteworthy, that these three new combo recharge packs are even lower than Rs 98 which was the lowest prepaid recharge pack for 28 days offered by Airtel.
Here’s are the features of the newly launched combo recharge packs.
On the lower front is Rs 35 prepaid combo recharge, where Airtel is giving 100MB in 3G/4G network for 28 days along with a talktime of Rs 26.66. However, the tariff for local and STD calls is set at 1 paisa per second.
Secondly would be a Rs 65 prepaid combo recharge giving 200MB data in 3G/4G network for 28 days. Apart from this, it offers talktime of Rs 65. Similar like above, the tariff for local and STD calls is also set at 1 paisa per second.
Lastly would be Rs 95 prepaid combo recharge, where Airtel gives 500MB in 3G/4G network for 28 days. Talktime of Rs 95 along with tariff of 1 paisa per two second is also available.
Recently, to take on RJio, Airtel also unveiled launched a new prepaid recharge pack of Rs 499. Under this pack, Airtel is giving a massive 140GB data for a period of 70 days.
